Model Series HDZE 400-600
Extra-heavy hand printing presses for relief and gravure printing
The HDZE series presses are high-quality, robust top-quality machines with a gear drive on the bottom roller.
Both pressure rollers have a diameter of 120 mm and run in slide bearings. The side frames are made of heavy-duty cast aluminium (aluminium-silumin alloy).
The wooden printing table is glued thirteen times (multiplex) and reinforced with a screwed-on, electrolytically galvanised, 1 mm thick steel plate. It slides on two lateral guide rails. The roller pressure is generated via adjusting spindles with compression springs. Even at maximum roller pressure, the press is smooth and safe to handle thanks to the gear drive. It is driven by a 6-spoke wheel.
This unrivalled feature for presses of this size, with a hand wheel with six extra-long spokes, together with the gear drive, ensures extremely comfortable operation.
The combination of multiplex steel plate for the pressure table has proven itself in over 40 years of experience in press construction as an extraordinarily dimensionally stable, high-quality solution.
